Albert Edward Bossingham (Ted)
Born
13th February 1926 Served in the Navy in WW2 on HMS Calder (American Lease/Lend Frigate, 1943-1945, convoys to Malta, North Africa and Italy, and submarine hunting) and HMS Neriede (1945-1947), visits in South Africa and St Helena. Married Edith May Wardley on 23rd February 1952 @ Shirebrook Was in the Derbyshire Constabulary, first at Shirebrook (7 Linden St - now demolished), then Clay Cross (77 Holmgate Rd) and briefly at Glossop In 1963 moved to Rycroft, Tolgullow, St. Day in Cornwall and became a chauffer and gardener. In 1967 moved to 53 Park Road, Redruth and worked as an Educational Welfare Officer. Now lives at 12 Talveneth, Redruth, from 1987 |
